Press Release Body = LUBBOCK, TX, OCTOBER 20, 2006: The Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District has signed on to an innovative school notification system for their communication needs.
The notification system is supplied by FamilyFirst Alerts. The school administrators will have the ability to send emergency and non-emergency school related messages to the parents of students and the community: via home, cell phone, email, and on other devices instantly in real-time. FamilyFirst Alerts has provided Lubbock-Copper ISD a simple and reliable way to contact parents of all students' in the district.
In addition, it's effective in scheduling meetings and events, changing meeting times and dates - any repetitive activity, such as PTA meetings. When bad weather arrives unexpectedly, parents can be notified to pick their children at a specified location. In an emergency, parents and emergency services can be notified during and after an event to coordinate appropriate actions as the situation changes. Non-emergency uses include everything from at late library notice to scheduling school meetings/events and making last minute changes.
